Request: How to install Evo Radio

Sorry about not being clear earlier in my post.

I have an Evo8 RS, which doesn't have a radio. I have a stock radio that I want to put in, but I wasn't sure which panels to take off to mount the radio. Could someone help?

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

very basic instructions on Evomoto.com. Since I believe RS is prewired, stock should plug right in.

aah but wait, that's not 100% of the story. What about the speakers? It looks like part of my wiring harness is missing in the back...

Yea, all the wires are there. If you're able to get the front door panels out, maybe you can take some pix and do a writeup. Quite a few RS people don't know how to do it

Nothing personal. The guys who installed my front speakers were total morons, not because they worked at circuit city, they were just plain dumb.
Can you explain to these kids how to pull the retaining pin off the window crank so that you can pull the door panel off?

Yeah there is a tool that slides behind the handle and you spin it till the clip comes off. BE sure to hold your hand over the handle or the clip will go flying off. We call them OH JESUS CLIPS cuz thats what you'll be screaming if you dont cover the handle with your hand.

oh sheesh, I mean explain how to do it without a specialty tool. They did it with a hook tool at the Circuit City I went to....that's funny, they called it a O JESUS clip there too...

Without the tool... PITA but doable. An old trick is to take a thin rag and slide it back behind the handle and spin it. That works ok. But for $3.50 you can have your very own O JESUS CLIP remvoer.
