Need advise on Greddy TT Install

Can anyone point me to where the ignition harness is on the evo? Its six wire harness somewhere under the dash that needs to be connected to Greddy wiring harness. I've checked the ECU harnesses under glove box, its not there.

Also, it calls for tapping into speed sensor wire?

thanks...

The harness goes on your ignition switch. You will find it on the steering column.
Take the bottom cover off the column, where the turn signal stalk, etc. is and tada.
If I remember there are 4 long philips screws.
Pull the ignition connector off the ignition switch, plug the harness into the switch, then plug the ignition connector into the harness.

You will probably find that the speed sensor wire is optional.
The other wire that goes to the E-brake is usually sufficient.

Hmmm, the steering column cover is one piece attached by 3 screws and looks like the only way to take it out is to remove the steering wheel. Am I missing something?

guys you should go to RRE(online)they have complete diagram for all wires colors could be different so thats a bad way to try to find correct spot
use quick splice connects so you dont sever your wires ,yes harness goes between existing factory ignition plug undwer top of steering column
you payed good money for that harness so you should wire everything(w/out speed sensor you wont be able to clock times(1/4,0-60,1/8)

no you don't need to remove the steering wheel. You just have to unscrew the panel behind the steering wheel. The panel that goes around the windshield wiper stalk/ignition key hole/turn signal stalk. After removing the panel, the ignition harness should be on the left side, near the turn signal stalk.

he is right, it is only 3 screws.

undo the 3 screws, pull down the adjustment arm, and them pull the bottom cover open in front (the part closest to the wheel) youll notice the long shaft that the third screw was in is actually hitting the ignition harness and making it diffucult to remove the plastic piece. just wiggle it out or put your finger in there and push it to the side a little.

it goes on a lot easier than it comes off.

Does anyone had any pictures of this installed? Do you need to run the wires all the way from the steering column to the ecu and to the parking brake or are those wires under the column too?

Would love to see some pics of an installed Greddy TT - both the mounting options for final placement, and the wiring connections if you have that as well.

I have mine mounted on the top of the steering column behind the steering wheel. It's great right there because its right in front of you without having to look away and it sits low enough to not interfere with your view of the gauges.
