Since the JDM headlight assemblies are designed for right hand drive cars the lens pattern will throw much of the beam into the eyes of other dirvers when used in the US where we drive on the oposite side of the road.
You can use a heat gun or careefully heat the assemblies in an oven and then pry the clear lens off. Once in the open you can swap a US HID lens with shield for the JDM one. Just be sure to tighten the philips screws nice and tight or the assembly will vibrate while you drive at night.
The oncoming drivers will appreciate it.
