i have an evo 8 and i bought 9 headlights cause i wanted the black housing but they dont fit! and the wires seem different. HELP!

If one set was a hid and one set wasnt your pretty screwed. There are write-ups on here on how to convert. From what I remember its not easy. You can sell your headlights and send me the correct head for your car, I can paint them black for ya. Pm if interested.

Also your thread will be moved since this is in the evo 10 section.

well i didnt think evo 8s are hid headlights and i bought evo 9 non hid ones.. if thats the case i am screwed :/

You have an 03, all 03's had hids. The only 06's that had hids from the factory were the ssl, mr, and se packages.

so im guessing...
1. you cant put non hid lights on a hid car or
2. its a pain in the a$$
