Do the walkthrough up to the pads part. Once the pads are out, there are 2 bolts (14mm? 17mm? cant remember. its 14mm on my vr4) that hold the caliper arm on the car. They're on the back (inside) of the wheel well area.
Once they are off, support the caliper (zip ties, rope, etc) to prevent any stress on the brake line (i hang mine off the springs, they're light). Once that's off, if the rotor doesn't just pull off, smack it with a rubber mallet a bit til it does. The lugnuts on the wheel are the only thing that holds the rotor on, but it won't come off with the caliper there, though it can wiggle once the pads are out.
I like to clean up behind the rotor (pb blaster, scrub) and take advantage of cleaning while the wheel and rotor are off. After that, put the new rotor on, bolt the calipers back on, pads back in (make sure you compress the pistons first ), wheels on, lugnuts, drive.

You have to make sure your e-brake is down for the rears cuz of the ebrake assembly in the rear. there are two holes in the rear rotor you can screw in a bolt and it will push up against the ebrake assembly and loosen the rotor and it will just slide right off but if you have your ebrake up it wont want to come off and it will be a pain in the ***. I found you dont have to take your pads out to change rotors as long as you dont have a huge lip on the old ones. I just used a pry bar and gave it slight pressure and it just popped right off. hope this helps.

if you do a how-to utilize the bolt removal method for the rear rotors
no one has ever taken pictures of how it's done
