I know fitment is way off(Seibons) vent is larger than stock mesh. Some have used washers hand stock vent to sandwhich it together...I said screw that...very carefully pelled back the Seibons pins underneath took of the Silver gril off... bought Krylon Flat Black Spray paint and gave it 4 coats(both sides) Looks 100x better actually call it looking normal instead.

I did exactly what Dan did. Held the stock vent to the seibon hood and figured it to be to much of a pain in the a** to get it on there. Just took off the shiny and painted it flat black. Hundred times better.

how to install stock vent on seibon hood.
This is not the cleanest way to do it but it works and have had no issues. I got a piece of black Plexiglass and made tabs to go from the bolts on the stock vent to sandwich the vent to the hood. Here are some pics. Let me know if you need a hand. My hood is a seibon. The pics aren't the best but I think you will get the idea. I am eventually going to cut the dust shield to make a cleaner look but it rattles too much this is the best for now.
