I am from Chicago heights The stock vent is tight and doesnt move. I am happy withthe way it fits and looks.

..... remove the stock vent and grill. put it on seibon. use some washers because the holes on stock vent are a bit too big.. line it up and reinstall. easy. done it many times

1. put the stock mesh on top of the hood
2. put the stock vent underneath the hood (put mesh studs through the holes in the vent)
3. put a big enough washer to cover the bolt hole on the vent and secure with self-locking nut


there you go! all you have to do is sandwich that vent and mesh onto the hood scoop lip!

I did the exact same thing.. I think it looks 10x better than the shiny aluminum look. Still would rather have the stock mesh, but, decent compromise.

This should def. be a STICKY! This is valuble information for alot of people im sure. Yhank you very much.._ I had no idea
