How To: Carbon Fiber Hood Stock Grill/Vent

I just bought a OEM Seibon Carbon fiber Hood and Want To Put the Stocker Grill From the OEM Factory Hood!! How Do I Do This Is It Strickly A Body shop Job Or What!?!?! Please Help!! (Fit from the Cf hood Feels TOOOO big For The Stock Grill...Just Sits Right it) Am I The Only One With This Problem!?!?

Cause it came with a silver one looks cheap...i wanna put the whole stock assembly...

yeah...the grill it comes with is like shinny menards or hope depot grill and it blows so i want to put the stocker on so it looks not so cheap because the freakin hood wasnt cheap!!..lol...but yeah overall the hood looks great I love it ill be postin some pics once I get the grill done!! yeah please someone shoot some feedback greatly appreciated!!!!

I have never attempted this but pics would help so others could visualize what you are refering to. Is there any overhang with the stock on the cf hood to adhere the venting to?

yeah its hard to explain...thats why i was wondering if anyone with a carbon fiber hood already went threw the same problem...will try and post pics...digital cam actin stupid...

i know someone has done this. guess you have to drill your own holes and use very short screws so you do not come out on other end.

I know fitment is way off(Seibons) vent is larger than stock mesh. Some have used washers hand stock vent to sandwhich it together...I said screw that...very carefully pelled back the Seibons pins underneath took of the Silver gril off... bought Krylon Flat Black Spray paint and gave it 4 coats(both sides) Looks 100x better actually call it looking normal instead.
