those plastic clip that hold the evo bumper to fender are weak! any fix?

anyone know a better way to clip the bumper to the fender instead of those plastic tab? i was backing out of driveway and scrap my bumper a little and the thing came off and now my bumper sag!

there isn't any other pre-fabbed option

you could rig something up I'm sure

but then there'd be more stress on the bumper in a similar situation

plastic clips for all cars are like that. they are weak and break all the time, and when you go to buy them they are like 2-3 bucks for one clip. you just have to be really careful when taking them apart, or if you take your bumper off a lot then use reusable zip ties in places that you can use it on

im thinking of taping a hole onto the bumper and fender and using a screw or a zip tie, but i don't want to drill holes yet..

just like shown, but that on top of flange of fender and bolt it through

I would take the bumper off and see what you need to do. If its just the plastic piece from the far left, I'd go to the dealer or parts store to pick it up and replace it. double sided 3m tape might work too?

there won't be a hole on the bumper though, only a hole on the fender. I'm not talking about the far left corner tab and screw.
