bump, im trying to figure out the bulb size?

 

I am going to do a full LED conversion in my dash and hvac lights, ill make sure to write up a How-To thread for anyone with questions or concerns

You could if you switch to LEDs, you would make them a to brighter!

 

So would changind these bulbs that light up rpm speed also effect the other indicators on cluster like fog, park lights and so on? Cuz half my cluster is very dim and cant see most of indicators when ON

Any word on the write up? A bulb died and I might as well change out all on my pretty old evo7.

 

I haven't done much researching yet, but where can I get a kit to convert to LED?

 

anyone know the size of the bulbs if you want to convert it to led and the ones on the climate controls?? im assuming they are wedge bulbs??

 

ones in climate control are #74 LED's I believe

cluster the closest is like 4mm or 5mm stand led's that require small modification. I wouldn't change the cluster. LED's dont disperse light even enough and the cluster will hot-spot really badly and look like trash

In the middle of this page they sell the cluster bulbs. Here's a tip if you want your dash to be brighter. Instead of using the blue bulbs put the white ones in everywhere. On the backside of the cluster some of those bulbs are the blue ones. All I'm saying is if you put the white ones in everywhere then your dash will be a lot brighter. I did it and it works really good.
