Mishimoto Slimline Fan Install

Hey, question, I just installed the Mishimoto radiator with the Mishimoto single fan. I cut the harness off the old fan and spliced the blue and black wires into it and plugged it back into the big connector. There is also a large grey plug the is connected into this thing. Did I do it right, or am supposed do something else. The fan comes on with the defroster on, but dosen't seem to come on any other time. Help please.

locate which wires are positive and which are negative and twist together, then connect to the appropriate Mishimoto wire (black = beg; blue = pos.)

Hope this helps!

I'm doing the same thing and planed on splicing the new fan to the old harness. The new fan has blue and black wires and so does the old fan so splicing the blue to blue and the black to the black should work. Right?

I did this with the fan module--- blue to blue, grey to grey. if you get them backwards---the fan runs in the opposite direction---thats all. You are completing a circuit.

Cool Mishimoto fan wire

Blue to blue and black to black cut the plug off the old fan and slice it to the new wires
If you want to use all the oem functions of the fan operation plug the harness you just spiced and the big grey plug back into the grey box that everything was in to Bergen with. I mounted mine on he botom of the mishimoto radiator.

I'd imagine using the wire crimp connectors are safer bet than just twisting the wires back together
