P0011 - cam sensor removal, check, and proper install? Need to rotate 180*???
I'm throwing the P0011 code so I pulled the cover to my cam sensor to see if I could tell if the sensor was installed 180* out when the cams were done. However, now that I have the sensor cover off I am unsure of how to properly pull the sensor. Can somebody who has dealt with this before please give me a step by step on what I need to do here? I pulled the 2 bolts at the base of the sensor, but it appears that I may have to pull the valve cover as well. Is this the case?
I've searched the other threads on this issue and didn't find a clear how-to on properly installing the cam sensors.
Thanks
Also, FWIW I've already pulled the cam gear cover to check that the timing marks are aligned properly.

ive had the p0011 code for over 2 years..
I finally bought a new intake cam sensor and I hope that will fix the problem.
the intake cam sensor only installs one way, I dont know how people can get this 180*
I will let you know what I do ..
if you find out about anything let me know

P0011 is MIVEC slow to respond. Look for a clogged feed solenoid or low oil pressure. Mitsu will throw a P0365 if its out of range or over advanced normally. 0011 is almost never the over advanced in the "normal" OBD designation.
