Any benefit to recirculating a bov?

I have to disagree with this statement. When you recirculate the air it's going to take the path of least resistance. If you push it back into your intake pipe it's going to try and charge the pipe (pressurize it) so the air will rush in and try to enter the turbo but will also flow out the filter where there is almost no resistance. So if the air reaches the turbo and encounters resistance, it will go back the other way and exit out the filter side. This is why you can hear the blow off valve much more with an open filter as opposed to a stock type of filter.
But as others have stated, recirculating will keep your car from running rich between shifts. Some people notice this more than others.

If your theory was correct, air would STALL in the MAF every single time you recirc'd the BOV. There isn't zero resistance going through the filter, it has a great deal of vacuum being applied across it. Combine that plus the constant vacuum being applied at the turbo inlet and you have enough to direct the recirc flow away from the MAF.

Yeah the best part of recirulating the bov is for the performance if you do happen to vent it, its only for the cool factor. My bov is recirculated right now and it makes me look bone stock.

I also heard that evo8s can't really recirculate because of running lean issues. Evo9 is fine. Is thr true ? I have Hks bov which is recirculated as well but im trying to get tial bov.

Is it a myth that recirculating also helps with transient response between shifts since that air that would be blown out to atmosphere would in turn be sent back to the turbo?? I can see spool be better in between shifts, in for answers whether it is a myth or actually adds performance... when compared to vta that just adds more excessive noise (love the noise on a proper set up)

I could be imagining the same thing but when i ran a recirculating compared to a vta, it seemed like my spools going in the next gear were much quicker.

I'm venting 1/4 of my air to the atmosphere with a fast go bits bov. When shifting under partial throttle at 14.1 AFR's it drops to 11-12. So there you go. Runs rich in between shifts and thats all I have noticed.
