HELP!! Accessory belt issues!!

My car had been sitting for a bit and the serpentine belt broke. i replaced the tensioner and the alternator since the alternator was seized as was the tensioner. After both were installed uncluding the new belt the car was driving and sounded perfect until this morning. I started the car and after about 30 seconds i heard a snap/clunk noise from underneath the hood and the battery light came back on. I put the car in neutral and tried twisting the belt by and but it would only spin about an 8th of a turn before it gets held up. Anyone have any ideas of which pulley it could be or if it even is a pulley? Also, the belt is now loose but still in one peice. ANYYYY info is greatly appreciated!!

OK, so i checked all the pulleys and its the crank pulley. (just my luck) Im not a mechanic and rarely work on cars so i really have no clue what to do here. the pulley itself pulled off of where its supposed to be. its not in line with the other ones which is why i threw the belt off. Someone please tell me my whole motor isnt destroyed because of this. I wouldnt even know how to fix it if i tried. Anyone have a clue how much this would cost to be fixed if possible? not a happy camper right now...

is your crank pulley seized or it's just backed out.. well if it just backed out, you're gonna have to take the bolt off and check if the threads inside is stripped or not and on the bolt. if not you should be able to get it zapped back in. follow the steps 3 & 4. but if the pulley is seized then you know your answer and wish you the best.

With the belt off rotate the crank to at least make sure that moves smoothly. Take the crank pulley completely off and examine the pulley and the crank. Make sure the pin where the pulley lines up to on the crank isnt damaged or missing. The pulley can really only go in one way so if its not there it may be the reason your having that issue. inspect the crank and the threads for the pulley bolt. if that looks ok then consider yourself lucky.

your absolutely right. the crank pulley went bad. im not sure whether it was when the other pulleys went or not, but yes th rubber in between the shaft and the pulley itself seperated. Pain in the A%# but definetely much better than what i had thought at first. thanks for all the help!
