need help installing gauges in center console with gruppe s

hey guys i need help on what wire i need to tap to make my gauges light up when i start my car. i already tap the radio power source for my electronic boost control and i dont want to put all the gauges taped to the radio, iam scared it might destroy it.. so all iam asking is what color is the wire i need to tap to light up my gauges in the middle console?? i tried to find the ignition 12v wire but dont know what color it is...pls help and can you show me a pic and what color is the wire iam going to tap thanks.

There would not be any problem running the illumination for all three aftermarket gauges off the same radio illumination wire, or any other illumination wire for that matter. Some pick up the lighter illumination wire. All of them go to the same fuse anyway. Not sure what color they are.

thanks man that helps a little i might use the lighter illumination wire to wire up the gauges i dont use it anyway ..need more info though guys anybody have more to say

My thought, wire it to the cigg lighter. And can tuck all the wires within there as well

I ran power and illumination from radio to three gauges in gruppe S no issues at all. I did however have some grounding issues and ran separate ground through firewall to block, WB likes a good ground. No issues

cig lighter, or radio, can run ground to battery or block

i already install my gauges guys..i use the cig lighter 12v wire that is green and white.. no grounding issues..it just common sense..here is a pics let me know what you think and the gauges i used is the jdm hks smoke series that are discontinued and rare to find.. i got mind when i visited asia
