Front Main Seal How To Request
apparently my front main seal is leaking.
I searched the how to's and couldn't find a article regarding changing the front main seal.
Can anyone chime in? Pictures would be great.
Thanks!

It is simple.
1. Remove your serpentine belt
2. Remove crank pulley and water pump pulley
3. Remove timing belt covers
4. Lock cam gears and/ or use some paper clamps or zip ties to hold the belt in place on the cam gears
5. Release tension on the timing belt tensioner pulley
6. Remove belt from the crank and oil pump pulleys
7. Use pulley puller to remove the crank pulley
8. Then remove the CAS trigger plate
9. Remove the Balance shaft belt pulley
10. Use a flat screw driver to remove front main seal/ or remove front Housing
P.S.- If you do decide to only replace the Front main seal I would recommend using a pipe and a piece of wood and gently tap it into place- or you can simply buy and seal hammer tool
11. Reinstall in reverse order and torque to proper specifications
12. There is a timing and torque specs thread you can find here on evom as well that will come in handy when you retime it.
Good luck
