Seatbelts Locked / SRS sign on.. Help removing

There are small explosive devices that essentially tension the belt. They explode much in the same way the airbags do. So that being the case you also need to replace the belts at the same time as the driver and passenger airbag assembly's. And just a heads up the center airbag ecu, any of the crash sensors that were set off, and the spiral cable behind the steering wheel. Sounds like it was a lot more serious of an accident then the "minor" one you were referring too. Good luck.
