Buschur sell an adapter to mount rwd GM trannys. Don't know specific trans. If the spare car is fwd you'll need to build a sub-frame that will allow the engine to be mounted in a rwd configuration or fit one from a rwd car. Don't forget the drive shaft will need to be custom made.

i have gearbox sorted and noticed also about the new subframe required was more wondering how the engine mounts are set up since the side engine mount would technically be at the front of the engine bay now. i have been told that i could drill and tap the block to get the mounts on but unsure how true this is

Im not too sure about drilling the block. You should call Buschur about that. They used to race a mean rwd dsm.

looking more at turning the motor the other way around for the strength wanna be able to give it some beans without breaking it have found an easier i do believe by using the mitsi L200 ute they run a 4g63 sohc carby motor but you can bolt the dohc head onto the block as its already a north south motor and can also use the L200 gearbox and they come with a factory lsd also

I don't know about that. The genesis is related to the 4B11 not the 4G63.

isn't the most natural thing. but will be interesting to see it going have got most of the problems sorted in theory just need to get it in action, have gone with an l200 crossmember the 4g63t has mounting points already on the side so shouldn't be a problem
