How do I log my wideband with my Tactrix
Hope someone can help.I have a LM2 wideband unit and I want to log it on my Tactrix Openport 2. I know you can feed the wideband 0-5 volts into the small socket at the end of the Tactrix. My problen is the command in the logcfg file.
I have this
type=ascii
paramname=WIDEBAND
paramid=1
but it won't log at all.
Without this it works fine.
ECU is EVO 7
Hope someone can help.

I'm going to try this with my LM-1 tomorrow since the situation is the same...
How did you figure out that the paramid has to be 12?
Or did you hook up the Analog cable to pin 12 on the obd connector? I can only find other solutions using pin 8 of the obd connector on the internet... nothing about using the 2.5mm jack.
edit:
actually couldn't wait and tried it already... unfortunately it is not working for me...
edit2:
its working! not 100% yet, but I am logging something! Of all possibilities it was a faulty audio cable that I used...
Now I only have to figure out why the LM-1 isn't outputting the 0-5V to the tip of the audio jack but to the center part... atm I am more or less logging the narrow band values since they are sent to the tip of the 2.5mm jack.
edit3:
okay!! reprogramming the Analog Output 1 of the LM-1 to the desired 0-5V and 9-16 AFR did the trick! Now the 0-5V are send to the tip of the 2.5mm jack and the Tactrix OP2.0 can log it through the paramid 12!
I can't say how accurate the readings are yet... they look a bit leaner than what the LM-1 actually displayed... around 0.2-0.3 difference and they are fluctuating more compared to logging with the serial output and EVOScan. But that said, the overall average should be accurate enough.
my settings are:
LM-1:
Analog Out1
0V 9AFR
5V 16AFR
logcfg.txt on the Tactrix:
type=adc
paramname=AFR
paramid=12
scalingrpn=x,0.0014,*,9,+
Thanks Charlescrown for pointing me to it!
