The 2.4L utilize a 100mm crankshaft, larger bore, and 6mm taller deck to increase displacement. The 2.4 is also offered in a long rod option which improves upon the rod ratio allowing higher reving. 2.4L Core charges are significantly cheaper than the 2.0L core.
Price - $2950 + Core
Add $700 for a 2.4L core, Pm for availability on 2.0 cores and pricing unless you want to send yours in for a rebuild.


PRS can build blocks to hold any of your HP goals, We have 2.4 blocks instock just waiting on piston and rod choice. They can be shipped out in a little as one week or installed here at our location in Orlando, FL

AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Cam Gears are used by top racing teams across the country and are a must for engines that are milled, forced induction, high compression and/or utilizing aftermarket competition cams. AEM Evo gears enable users to match cam timing with their vehicle's tuning state by advancing or retarding the cam profile in one-degree increments via true laser-etched markings. Precision-cut gear teeth ensure no premature wearing of the belt surface and AEM's anodizing on the gear teeth is lab-test-proven to be the hardest anodizing process on the market. AEM cam gears are available in black only.

This place has top notch service. The 2.4 motor is in my car now built by prs. I will be starting a build thread soon once I take some better pics. Can't go wrong with this shop.

Exedy Twin Disc Clutch Kit



For high-powered applications EXEDY offers Multi plate clutches. These are designed for hot street action as well as drag, road, and rally racing. All of our multi plate clutches come with a lightweight chromoly steel flywheel, and the famous purple anodized forged aluminum clutch cover. Depending on the application, both strap drive and lug drive models are available. All have T5001 cerametallic friction materials for extreme heat resistance. The multi plate clutches are rated up to 800+ foot pounds of torque at the flywheel. And come with spring damper or solid discs depending on the application.

Thank you for the email reply. My goals are a moderate 500whp and 450wtq with my EF3 turbo. I believe the 2.4L Stage 1 fits the bill. Is the core charge refunded when the old engine arrives?
