Positron,

Unfortunately, they are only burned one way. We cannot do any custom finishes unless we do it in a big batch.

Sorry

if only metal didn't get so cold i would get one...def a nice looking knob, i agree with others that you should make them as heavy as the greddy, nobody would buy the greddy then and you would make that much more money....i had to take the greddy off because it was so small and cold during the winter and hot during the summer....

Ya, they do get cold in the Winter and hot in the Summer but it's definitely livable.

As far as the weight goes, they are definitely counterweighted! Although not AS heavy as the Greddy knob, it comes pretty close. It's good enough weight for nice, clean, crisp throws.

Francis@aspec

great looking knob

whats the deal with the "hot n cold" thing
if its really that bad just put some type of cloth on it or keep the factory knob in the glove
again i dont see whats the big deal

I installed one of these a couple of weeks ago and I'm liking it so far. It's a little shorter than stock, so it's sort of like having a short-throw shifter...barely.

It feels good in the hand, although it is pretty slick and my hand has slipped of a couple of times during spirited shifting. I'm learning to adjust my grip.

It is pretty cold in the winter, but if you just grip it with a warm hand for about 10 seconds, it heats right up quickly.

It looks exactly as pictured - beautiful.

fits perfectly on my MR, also sits about a half inch shorter than stock one.
shifting feels much better and definately does not fry your hand like aluminum MR knob.
my only gripe would be that they should be larger in diameter, say 50mm at least.
I would buy another one in a second if they came larger, but overall a great knob.

I love mine. If this knob "evolved" its next version would be bigger...

I read somewhere that the Mitsubishi thread pitch is 8x1.25. So it's actually 10x1.25?
