Interested in the harness bar....
what harnesses do you all recommend for the stock Recaros (leather)?
Any package deals for harnesses + harness bar? =)
I do occasional hpde's, auto-x, mostly drag racing.
Thanks

I have the 3" Sparco 6-point, but mounting them was a nightmare.
The factory seatbelt bolts are larger than the holes in the mounting tabs, and the bolts that come with the harnesses won't thread into the factory spots. You either have to drill new holes in your car or drill larger holes in the mounting tabs.
I chose to drill out the mounting tabs. It sounds simple, but they are HARDENED CHROMOLY STEEL! This means that you need to go to a machine shop to find the right drill bit, which is $40-50 for one bit. Trust me, that Unibit (aka stepper bit) you can get at Home Depot ain't gonna get the job done.
Maybe some of the cheaper harnesses come with tabs that are easier to drill, or maybe you're ok with drilling more holes in your car. But if you choose my route, I wanted to give you fair warning.
Edit: I bought my harnesses at RallySportDirect.com and they were GREAT! I highly recommend them.

Good news camera mounts have arrived and are a bit more elaborate than originally expected. Unfortunately there is an added cost. To all that have bought the bar, I am honoring my word...that the mount would be N/C...they have just been shipped. You guys got a ripper deal. For others interested but have not yet purchased the bar, the camera mounts will be 59.00 each.
Thanks again for your support!
