All I have to say is this is a top quality piece. Fitment is perfect. Instructions are easy to follow and best of all your passengers still have leg room in the rear and they don't have to worry about banging their knees when getting in and out. As for Srm Tuning they are great guys and they have even better customer service. Thanks for the great Harness bar and seatbelts SRM Tuning, lookin forward to doing much more business with you guys.

Why would you like takata harnesses in it, so you can waste money, and not have it legal at about any race track in the US?

11-12 LBS. Including hardware. I'll see if I have another photo shot from the front of the car. I was mainly interested in showing the quality of the welds/construction and fit of the bar more than anything else. Thanks for checking it out!

Looks very nice. Does it allow you to move the seat further back than the Sparco / M1 harness bars? Thanks.

Takata is also the largest OE supplier of seatbelts and airbags to the Japanese manufacturers. You are talking a HUGE global company that manufacturers everything from front and side airbags to the clocksprings on a steering wheel, and steering wheels themselves.

The harnesses also meet all FIA 8853 and 8854 standards.

And yes, I've run 10's in one of my cars, with Takata's, and have never had an issue at the track...have also run numerous track days with them as well in a different car, and in several customer cars
I also have a couple friends who run at the track with Takata's and have never had a issue.

The harness bar looks great IMHO. I'm also wondering if it allows us to move the seat back further then the sparco harness.

Great question. I am 6'7 and have the seat all the way back. How is seat travel with this bar?

is this fairly easy to remove for rear passengers? I know you don't really have to but I will probably want to for safety...if it is removable, how long would it take to do so? thanks...looks great btw
