Could you verify that there's a difference between the 2 part #'s? I'd like to order a set of tail lights that are gloss black & not flat black for my IX MR. Thanks!

Ok, lets put this myth to rest. EVO VIII and IX MR taillights inserts are in FLAT BLACK only! I am not sure why some vendors claimed they are black chrome to begin with. Maybe they have mistakenly (or simply color blind) thought since the IX headlights have black chrome inserts, therefore the Tailights should also receive the same features. The answer is NO!!!

Not trying to cause trouble here, but I think it's weird that the same part would have two different part numbers.

i am pretty certain its the same as the VIIIs MRs. unless someone who has purchased the "black chrome" taillights from gruppe-s can prove me wrong.
even the ex-gruppe-s shipping guy (who stopped by shop earlier) said they are the same (viii mrs vs ix mrs).

I can put it to rest easily - there is no such thing as an Evo IX MR in any other country but the US. The only JDM MR there is/was was an Evo VIII
