Yep! It's a great product. Highly recommended to those who are considering picking it up. Smoother shifting and more responsive. You really can't go wrong.

Smile installed engine dampner tonight( have questions)

i installed by engine dampner, shifts easier, i do seem to get more of a rattleng noise when i coast (in gear) at 4K rpm. ie going down hill in gear. i dont know if its the dampner attachments, or my triple carbon, etc... any advice? also when one spins the "barrell" around, is this tightening the "shock"rebound ? or is it set at the same dampening force no matter how many times you spin the barrell? if it is adjustable, if i made it less "tight" will my rattle noise go away? what should i put in the bolt-holes where they connect to the brackets to make it quieter? any input will be greatly appreciated. help a brother out.

good explaination of your install, wondering did you relocate your AC line like some others did? If not are you having any issues with the lines rubbing on anything now.

Remove Strut Tower all togeather or if you are lazy just undo the screws on the passenger side and the 2 in the middle for a little wiggle room. (14mm)

Place the main adapter bracket down and make sure it looks alright

Remove main adapter bracket and install it to the damper / actuator this way you can get it tight. (Need a pair of pliars to hold one end and a 17mm socket)

Remove the 2 engine mounts I had to unbolt the connector that was holding the black hose close to the engine mounts for easy access.

Slide on the adapter plate and put your 2 engine mount bolts back on but leave them pretty loose.

Remove the clip that is holding the AC line and flip it this way it will be out of your way. (12mm)

Slide the main adapter bracket / and now the installed damper / actuator down to where you had it before.

Line it up with the adapter plate (you left it loose so you can move it around and get it right on / not have to fight it) and attach the screw tighten it up.

Tighten down the 2 engine mounts

If you unscrewed the black hose that was next to the engine mounts re-attach it.

Reinstall the strut bar and if you removed it all togeather line up the middle screws first and install them. Then do the sides.

My friend and I did this entire job in about 15 minutes.

Very easy I thought with the right tools and the benefits are great!!
