Just use an extender with a long socket wrench to get the extra torque. But to reach the bolts, you need to unbolt the mounting bracket for the power steering line and just push the line away to reach the bolts.

Just kind of curious on the bracket mounting points. Do you guys think that they are safe to handle the load of the engine moving back and forth? I am intersted in the part.

no trouble with the engine mounts, but I did have some issues with the hard a/c lines and moving them to fit the dampner brackets. I flipped the upper A/C mounting grommet to move the a/c line lower, and no problems now.
Kudos to prostreet for getting out my dampner quickly and without any problems!

This thing is amazing... I can shift so smoothly now and when I turn off my car I don't hear my engine rocking back and forth, I just can't believe such a small thing can change so much driveability.

I want to add one more thing. After drving around for a few days/week I noticed something. I never paid attention to it because I was getting used to this noise. When sitting at a light (stopped) the rattling sound from the throwout bearing (I believe this is where most people are getting this noise from at idle) went away. Now, I'm not sure if the the damper has anything to do with it but hey, it made the noise before I installed it. And now it doesn't. Coincidence?

Just installed mine and yes it is prety straight forward... but am I missing something when "tightning" the dampner?
If I tighten it one way (i.e. thread it into the schock mount) then is UNTHREADS from the engine mount, and vise versa. I can get it in both, but there are MANY thread exposed on both ends... I feel like the pistons part of the "shock" doesn't extend enough to allow full tightning.
Any tips?
