The Blow-off valve is essential to all turbocharged vehicles. The purpose of the BLITZ Blow-off Valve DD is to relieve compressor surge without reducing compressor speed. It controls boost pressure that is built up by the turbo and vents it into the atmosphere when the car is not under load (in between shifts). This prevents pressure from backing up into the compressor housing, causing the turbo impeller blade to rapidly stop or even worse, to spin backwards (compressor surge or backspin). Doing so can be potentially destructive to the turbine wheel and shaft.The BLITZ blow-off valve not only improves performance and response, but also increases the life of the turbocharger.

GReddy's Type S Blow Off Valve or BOV is one of the nicest designs available. The GReddy Type S Blow Off Valve is designed to be used on Cars that Run up to 18 PSI. The GReddy Type S Blow Off Valve (BOV) is made from Billet and Cast Aluminum, which is very durable. You can adjust the release pressure by twisting the knob on the top. Vehicle Specific GReddy Type S kits are shipped with parts to replace the Factory Equipped Blow Off Valve.

The HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve (SSQV) is a dual stage pull type relief valve. Unlike other blow off valves that are push type, the SSQV will not leak under high boost conditions nor under vacuum at idle. Being of a pull type valve structure, the SSQV can not physically leak under any level of boost because boost pressure also keeps the valve closed against its seat. The SSQV is actuated by pressure alterations only, not by the rate of pressure or vacuum in the line, which ensures a quick valve response and complete closure during idle. On typical blow-off valve designs, a large valve is utilized in order to accommodate high boost / high horsepower applications. Can be vented to intake with recirculation kit or to the atmosphere. If you want this to bolt on to your EVO you will need the flange Kit & Recirculation Kit below.
