No it does not have XS painted on it. Most intercoolers do not come painted at all. Most paint will decrease the thermal efficiency of the intercooler. Something like that is normally either put on by the consumer or it is on the companies car painted on. I will post up some pictures of the TurboXS FMIC. For the price I don't think it can be beat.

Nope it is not a typo. It is a very good deal for such a nice core. It measures 3.5" thick 11.75" tall and 24" wide.

Yes this is the new FMIC just released. We should have pics of it installed on our shop EVO soon. That is if they aren't all sold before we get the chance to install it.

A little more info about the core. It will bolt up to the stock I/C piping so there is no need to replace them. Also if you already have aftermarket piping that mounts to the stock intercooler it will work with this one. TurboXS is working on a set of I/C pipes to sell with this intercooler. As soon as they release them I will have them for sale on here.

Let me know if you have any questons. Thanks

Ben

Can you guys explain the difference in between the Utech tuners? Is it just different sensors? Is one better than the other?

TurboXS has 2 level of tuners. The Tuner "lite" also refered to just Tuner is basically just a wideband sensor. It will log to the UTEC and append the AFR on the side of your logs. Making it very easy to tune and see where you need to adjust your fuel levels.
The tuner Pro Also offers this but includes a Bosch Knock sensor and has 3 LED on it to tell you how severe the knock is and gives you head headphone jack so you can listen to the knock and pick it up even before the sensor does. This can be a very powerful tool but many people find that they cannot hear knock very well over the valvetrain and drivetrain noise. But many other swear by it and could not live without it.
The only difference between the tuner with the bosch or VW sensor it the quality of the sensor. The bosch sensor is supposed to have a faster sample rata and also be more accurate. But it is more expensive. Most people choose the bosch sensor for these reasons. Let me know if you have any questons.
