272/264 are in stock, also they give more low end torque quicker

Hey Chris, would the 272/264 combo be a better choice for a daily driven car than 272/272? I've been hearing that the 272/264 combo is better because u get more low-end and mid-range torque than straight 272s. I'm debating whether i wanna exchange my exhaust cam for a 264.....let me know what u think? Thanks!

It will give you a better idle. Yes you get good low end torque also, but if you plan on upgrading your turbo you are going to want to keep the 272's for sure.

Gotchya, i actually don't plan on upgrading my turbo because not only am i poor, but i like the stock turbo the way it is. I do a lot of normal street driving, so i dont really plan on keeping the revs real high all the time. Im looking for something will give me a little more torque in the lowend and be able to pull all the way to redline, or at least fairly close. Would u be losing a lot of lowend torque with straight 272s? Would cam gears help out on the lowend? Thanks!

I can't decide which setup to go with, the 272/264 or straight 272s. I don't plan on upgrading my turbo anytime soon unless somthing amazing comes up My car will be daily driven but I will drag race at the track and whatnot. Which setup would help me more in the 1/4th?
