Gruppe-S power package 2 sale!!
Hey guys,
I know most of you guys already have exhaust upgrade but still looking for more power. Have you notice your powerband falling off after 5000 rpm when "speeding" up on the freeway?
Exhaust power package if you don't have it yet
The reason being is the stock cams are not aggressive enough to supply for the airflow at high rpm. The solution is to change out the stock cams to something with longer duration like HKS or Buddy club cams. I would also recommend cam gears meanwhile for tuning purposes....either to get more top or low end power by simply adjusting the gears.
Gruppe-S power package 2:
- Bubby Club Camshafts (264/272 or 272/272)
- Helix Cam Gears
- ARP Headstuds (highly recommended)
- Walbro Fuel Pump
- Denso 66occ or 720cc Injectors
- HKS Cams ($100 extra)
- HKS Cam gears ($60 extra)
- Helix IC pipings ($269 extra)
- Gruppe-S CF covers ($199 extra)
Sale price: $1299 shipped!!! (lower 48 states)
Below is a dyno graph of my car with 272 intake and exhaust cams and some supporting on CA 91 octane.
Package consist of:
or
+
or

Thanks,
Tom/Cal

An upgrade timing belt like PE would be nice but not necessary. The stock timing belt will be suffient unless you are doing a complete motor rebuild with a huge turbo upgrade.
As for the headgasket, you will not need to change it since the head isn't coming off but if you were to change it...I would recommend the Cometic or HKS metal gasket.
Thanks,
Tom

Cal This sounds real tempting to me....
Overall how much am I saving by buying this package? Cuz I tried calculating how much everything would be if I bought everything seaparately. The only thing I can see saving money on is shipping....
also will 720cc injectors would be bad for me over the 660's??

Yes I can see where you are coming from in terms of pricing. However, these pricings are already at very low pricing (literally at almost cost believe it or not!)
As for Injectors, you can't go wrong w/ either 660s or 720s. If you plan on using stock turbo, go w/ 660s. 720s for bigger turbo setup.
Thanks

Yes I know, I worked for a speed shop here in NYC for a few years, so I know the pricing structure on parts and stuff...
Dang $1299 shipped for all those parts sound good....
I have the money for the package but wanna wait till I can afford the AEM EMS at the same time and do everything in one shot....
