do I need to get an AEM EMS (currently using a UTEC) as I noticed from the above picture there is no MAF and the IC pipe looks like would not clear teh HKS RS Intake.

Lumpiness in the map is due to the tuning. As you can tell by the air/fuel graph it has plenty of low and high spots. The new map with the full released kit will be very impressive.

Stay tuned for that.

A custom intake will be made for the turbo kit itself. You wont be able to use your standart hks one due to a couple things.

Turbocharger is bigger.
Placement is different.
Piping would be in the way.

The Peakboost EVO8 is utilizing a hydra ems. When the kit is realeased in its full trim, a hydra custom basemap will be provided with the purchase of the kit.

Also keep in mind fellas/gals. The Peakboost EVO8 is running Precision 1000cc injectors, walbro pump and STOCK CAMS..

280s and some better tuning she is easily hitting 440s..

Haha I spent so much time over at Peakboost I didnt get a chance to tune it. We barely finished installing the stuff. I didn't even install the fuel rail among other items. I'm hoping to get the rest done and tune on Wed. I'll keep ya posted.

I have to admit though, I'm real interested in that turbo. Ken sold me on it pretty good. I hope to meet up with him again soon, real cool guy. I plan on making the plunge on that 3040 kit in Jan. Now if I can only talk the woman into no X-mas presents this year...

Depends on which one you choose. They are all rated differently.

The T3/T04R ball bearing is a big kahuna turbocharger. I will get the 2 different specs for you now and post them up.

Roughly 650HP though..

I have a few questions about the a-spec intercooler.

Does it bolt right up to the stock/helix intercooler pipes?

Will it work on an 05 without problems?

Does it come with the cuplers and t bolt clamps needed to install it?

I was wodering if you sold other t bolt clams for the rest of the intercooler pipes.

Peakboost has there own clamps. Package of 5 is $50 i believe, i will have to double check.

The Intercooler does come with the couplers and clams for the intercooler install. It will bolt right up to the stock piping with no problems at all. Its actually fabricated to fit perfect and mount right up to the existing holes.
