QUOTE from DynoFlash.
Every base map includes ONE free revision that I will do for you by email based upon a data log or dyno data that you obtain. Note* due to the nature of this product the two week satisfactiuon guarantee of the normal Dyno Flash does NOT apply

Yeah, but still. He's sending you a base map and then if you choose to log/dyno, he'll make some minor adjustments for you to fine tune the original.
I was hoping he'd send a base map and then if I get a new round of mods, he'd do another.
I mean if I was paying for dyno time, they'd log o2's and then I could just adjust myself if need be.
And why is the package more money? You'd think there'd be a discount by buying it all from him. If he's buying that many cables at once, you know their cutting him a deal...
Anyway, it's still cheaper and less of a hassle than a mail-in so I'll stop b1tching about it now.

I got my cable today too.
You need to go to openecu.org and dl the newest software. Running wXP, you won't need drivers. However, it's in .rar format so you'll need something to extract it. winrar works fine and is free trial. After that, just install and run.
PLug the cable into the obd2 port and connect to laptop. Turn the ignition on. ECU just needs power. Don't start the engine.
The software seems to be pretty user-friendly. There is a forum here for the software that might answer any ques you have. I haven't checked it out yet....
I'm still waiting on my drop-in before I send Al my stock maps. I don't want to flash until everything is the way it's supposed to be.
