ok, so I just pulled all the data off the ecu so I could save the data as my stock map in case I ever have to go back. Why will the software not open the saved file?
I also wanted to play around a little with the software before I send the base map to Al but am weary of it in case I screw something up and have to go back.

Make sure you have the .hex extension after the file name. It will not open it without that.

Go where you saved the file and add a .bin (at the end of the name you saved it as...... Here's a sample (stock9.bin)

Thanks! I just figured it out before I came back in.
So, should I use .bin or .hex? Does it matter?

well, i threw in a new set of plugs and my eflash today, a little more in the top end, my butt dyno isn't as sensitive as some people's but i also did a few logs with my pocketlogger and all seems well in the timing and AFR. still would like a custom tune sometime though. overall for the price, it's well worth it.

Great news - glad you enjoy it

I put a lot of time into those maps - double and triple checking everything and they represent some of my best work. Glad its working out well for you !

Al, can I get a ECUflash for a 06 WRX. The 06 WRX can be flashed using the 1.3 cable and current ECUFlash software.

I think he only does maps for Evo's, but you could probably get a map from a Suby tuner to use with EcuFlash.

Umm, Al used to be a Suby tuner and I believe he still is, but your a newb so you probably dont know that.

I know that he sells Eflashes only for the EVO right now, but I was asking him if it was possible to do a EFlash for a suby.
