it is like you want....if you run the test pipe it goes
downpipe>3inch adapter with two bolt on downpipe side to v-band>vband--catback
it is setup to run any downpipe you want as long as its the normal two bolt setup like almost all are.

Dave, exhaust came today...... very well packaged and very nice quality!
I'm going to have Scott at TTP install it with the test pipe when he does the EcuTek flash next week.
I'll post some pics and a review once complete...

Installed mine today....very very easy to do! I've never had an exhaust with V-clamps, and now that I do, I don't know how I'd go back. The fact that I can swap the stock cat back on for service in a few minutes is a great convenience!
Another "new" experience for me was running catless. The car now races to redline, without any resistance. I believe that the dyno numbers showed 5-8 hp (or something like that), but the butt-dyno feels like alot more.
I am really impressed with the quality of the exhaust. The "issue" with the "extended tip" is a non-issue. It does not look obtrusive at all on the stock IX bumper, as it comes out only about 1" or so beyond the bumper. I think it actually looks nice, and I won't have worry about charring the paint!
The sound is very deep at idle, and at WOT it will scream....and scream loudly.
I'm going to continue to run without the cat to see if I can get used to the cabin noise at crusing speeds (which is the only drawback for me personally; to others it may not matter). I don't want to give up the the way the car feels now that it has no restrictions from the stock cat, but if the cabin sound becomes too much of an issue, I'll try a resonator or HFC to cut down the sound a bit.
Overall, this exhaust is everything Dave described it as, and truly a great value!!
