Actually, I'm not too sure how titanium would take to ceramic coating.... Any one know that can chime in?

question:

i already have the UR TP, but i hate how the integrated Cel Fix hangs low.

im interested in this for 2 hopeful reasons:

im hoping to get your Cel fix and put back my 02 sensor where it originally was so its not hanging low and because yours is TI im hoping it will be louder.

pls. confirm and is it still in stock? ship to 95132?

Our old versions for the Evo 8 was basically the same pipe but w/o the 02 bung. We have stopped production on those pipes and only carry the new pipe w/ the 02 bung.

It is still good for the Evo 8, you just have to plug the 02 bung with the included plug. Works perfectly. Then your 02 just goes into its factory location (in the mid-pipe).

Our extended CEL fix hangs pretty low as well but we made sure that it didn't hang lower than the front subframe brace (which is the lowest part of the car). It should be safe from impacts. We have a shorter CEL fix that you can use but IMO it doesn't place the 02 sensor far enough away from the exahust stream. YMMV, but some people have had luck with the shorter CEL fix.

My recommendation is to use the extended CEL fix that we have but since you don't want it to hang low, I'm not sure....

Regards,

thats sounds good, because the UR TP hangs lower than the subframe. (or atleast mine anyway) its works though. about the TI making it louder than SS? yes right?

Well, the resonance frequency of steel is different from titanium but as far as it being louder, I don't think so. Its not the material that will make it loud, its the fact that you don't have a cat Of course it all depends on your other components too.

One this is certain though, our TP is definitely LIGHTER than SS, which is what we wanted to achieve in the first place.

Ti intercooler piping is not worth the cost or material, Aluminum has far more superior heat exchange then Ti has. For that reason is why you see Ti on exhaust side and not aluminum on the hot side as it will not keep the heat in as well as Stainless, Ti, or Inconel.
