The JUN cams require upgraded springs, make NO exceptions.
The JUN 272s have a very long effective duration, and are too much cam for all but LARGE turbo applications (e.g. GT35R and up). A smaller turbo will peter out before these cams reach their powerband. Also, the idle will be rough, and not easy to manage with a stock ECU. DO NOT think these cams are similar to HKS, GSC, etc. 272s, or you will find yourself sadly mistaken.
The JUN 264s appear to be comparable to HKS 280s in effective duration, but the JUNs 264s have more aggressive ramps and will make more power. The JUN 264s should be regarded as a hot street cam for either smaller or large turbos.

Sweet we have a very similar setup so whatever gains you see is going to be close to what I see. Out of curiosity what did your setup make on racegas, I think thats where these cams are going to come alive. I'm also considering the 264 Juns over the 272s just to take advantage of the TQ and I don't want to be running higher than 7-7500 on the road course even though I can rev to 8300.

Yeah also try to get plots with rpm not mph, I hate those haha if the 264's agree with my ecutek and maf and add good tq I would be very pleased, esp if they offer more midrange then the 280 HKS's I would hope?
Are you running there springs and retainers aswell?

I posted in Turbotrix Forum a dyno plot of my car in rpms, you can check it out.
When the Jun's get here I will post before & after and obviously give a review, if those cams net more power, better midrange and more torque than the HKS 280's Im in for a great year at the Solo 1's because I have HKS 272's.

Which JUN cams would be best for a street and occational strip use for a decent spoolup on a 2.3 stroker with a Shearer Kit GT35R? I am assuming I would't need the springs and retainers if I have a Jackson Machine stage IV head package. Is this correct?

The JUN 264s appear to have as much effective duration as HKS 280s, yet have a more aggressive ramp design, and it is from this where the bump in power results.
Considering the safe usable rpm range of a 2.3L with GT35R, and mild strip use, the JUN 264s are the better cam.
