OK, thanks for the info, now I need a little more.
1. Are these the type 1 or type 2 retainers?
2. What is the maximum lift of the springs? It looks to me like it is 11.0mm, but I'm not positive and hope it's more like 12 or 13.
3. Are they dual springs? or single springs?
4. What is the seat pressure?
5. What is the open pressure @ around 11.0 mm of lift?

1: The JUN Titanium Retainers for EVO 8 are only 1 type, but there are 3 different part numbers in the JUN page same with the cams, seems they have done some upgrading on them, Eric sells the lastest part number in cams, springs & retainers.
2. Lift on the springs I dont know why you really think on that, be sure the springs hold the cams Cams lift is: 264's = 10.5 both, 272 = 10.8 both.
3. They are single springs, they are not Skunk2 springs
4. No idea
5. No idea, TedB I bet would know.
Good luck with the cams.
On other note, you can make the idle like stock but not at 14.7 AFR at idle, a lot richer and with proper degree, but why do that? JUN baby JUN, I love how my car sounds heheheh

The reason I'm inquiring about pressure and coil bind is because these probably will not be the last cams I buy, so I want a spring/retainer combination that I can use on my next set of cams. There are a few really good combos out there (Ferrea, Supertech, etc.), I just want to spend my cash the best way I can, and as few times as possible :-)

People, word of advise buy the whole set, the stock retainers will not fit the JUN Springs, this happened to me, but I found a set of Eclipse Retainers and they worked great. Buy the whole set, besides Eric and Hiro are giving an awesome price on this.
Eric, send me a quote for a new set of 264's, springs and retainers, have a friend very interested. And btw get a msn messenger, AIM takes too much memory
