Heat resistance. Looks great as well but its main purpose is to keep any heat from the long runners on some aftermarket manifolds away from the magnesium valve cover.

I don't know what is so hard to understand what all is included in this "kit" and what isn't.
The Kit cost $35.00 What else can possibly be included for $35.00? Some of you people really flip me out! There are no Manifold bolts included...Understand?
