COBB Turboback exhuasts now available!!!

Finally, after a loooong development time, the Cobb turboback exhuast is now available for Mitsubishi EVO.

This is one of our best selling exhuasts for Subaru STi, and we are very happy to offer it to our EVO customers.
The quality and materials are top notch, sounds is perfect (not too loud), and the power gains are impressive.

Salt Lake City, Utah, August, 2007 - COBB Tuning is proud to announce the release its Turbo Back Exhuast for the 2003-06 Mitsubishi Evolution.

The COBB Tuning Stainless Steel 3” Turbo Back Exhaust is engineered to be everything the Mitsubishi EVO needs in an exhaust system -- a complete, truly engineered system, that offers optimal performance, tasteful looks, and unparalleled durability without a loud and obnoxious exhaust note.

The system is offered with a high flow catalytic converter, or no catalytic converter, in the test pipe section. This is a direct fit replacement to the stock exhaust unit without the need for spacers to lower the factory bracing.

The COBB Turbo Back Exhaust consists of
the following:
- Downpipe
- Test Pipe (Catted or Non Catted)
- Cat Back Exhaust

Sound Measurement Data:
Stock DP & Cat with Cobb cat-back - idle - 80db SAE J1169 - 88db
Cobb DP, Stock Cat, Cobb cat-back - idle - 79db SAE - 93db
Cobb DP, Cobb catless test pipe, Cobb cat-back - idle - 83db SAE - 98db
Cobb DP, Cobb high flow cat pipe, Cobb cat-back - idle 80db SAE 94db

$985 shipped - Turboback Catless
$1095 shipped - Turboback Catted

$625 shipped - Cat Back

IS the Catted TestPipe just a HFC or a resonated TP?

Also, can the Catted TP be hooked up on either side to any other Downpipe or CatBack Exhuast?

In your opinion would the COBB TBE be a better buy than say the Megan exhaust and downpipe for the IX....or even vs. THE WORKS TBE?

Thanks for your help in making up my mind!!!

The test pipe can be used in place of the stock section, so it'll work with most other units.

I don't have any experience with the Works or Megan units. I know the Cobb exhuasts have been some of the highest quality systems out there, and the sound is second to none. Fit is perfect too.
