Z-1 Perfromance is proud to introduce the new Unorthodox hard pipe kit for the USDM Evolution VIII. This is how it should have come from the factory! Features include:

- 2.5 inch piping (for upper and lower pipe), powdercoated to match the valvecover.

- Your choice of BOV flange (we stock all the popular ones from HKS, GReddy, Blitz, Turbo XS, stock Evo VIII and 1G DSM).

- Eliminates over 2 feet of pipe length and several bends compared to the stock piping - this results in better throttle response, faster spool and better power throughout the power band.

- Retains factory battery.

- Includes all hose couplers, and T Bolt clamps.

- Kits are priced at $749 shipped in the 48 states. We are currently accepting orders and kits will bgin to ship in about 2 weeks (since each kit is built to order with customer choice of BOV flange). All orders are to be accompanied by a non cancelleable $400 deposit (balance is due when the kit ships). Deposits can be made via Paypal (z1sales@z1auto.com) or via credit card (call).

adam quick question what color is the hose couplers. Also can u use the stock air box?

yea I was wondering about the stock airbox as well...

 

This does not affect the airbox at all - its intercooler pipes, not the intake pipe. Couplers are black.

 

no i uderstand that its the intercooler hoses, and not the intake pipe, some ic pipes u cannt uses the stock intake, thats why i was asking. thanks

 

I gotcha now - I will double check it tonight for you (the car we have it on has an intake pipe thatw as made, since it has the 3037 kit on it already)

If there is enough demand for another color, we can have it powedercoated that way, but for now, they will all match the valvecover.

adam any chance that this kit can be used with the stock bov, i have no reason to really change it the stock one is just fine for me.

 

Wish that was black...I dont think I could take seeing red pipes mounted to the intercooler in the front (I have a tarmac black evo).

 

Yes we have teh stock BOV flanges available - basically whatever falnge you choose is up to you, they are all included in the price (we have stock Evo, 1G DSM, Blitz, Turbo XS, GReddy Type S, HKS, etc.)
