So then we have an exhaust which is very lightweight, it looks very nice on the Evo (personal opinion) and it has a bolt-on silencer when needed...

A dynorun now to see some power gains and i will place my order the following day!

Thanks!

Hey, does this exhaust have a bung for the O2, if not can a local shop weld one up? Isn't titanium hard to weld....?

man, i was all set to order and then i saw how the tip gets oriented once installed.

not only is the tip distance not proportioned to the bumper cutout, you cant even see the pimptastic flame treatment once the exhaust is installed.

the adjustment points dont look to offer the freedom to aim the tip downward, but someone correct me if i'm wrong.

i could have the exhaust shop make it fit, but why spend $900 for something that needs to be F'd with?

If I am correct in that you are referring to the way it angles out to the side, that is the way the exhaust is designed. It is "straight through" with minimal bends, so the tip gets angled to the side somewhat. It's usually considered a "JDM thing" but the design makes sense. The flames you will find with nearly every Ti exhaust - but if you really don't like it you can always just paint over it. Besides, you'll be hard pressed to find a Ti exhaust for this cheap. Some SS catbacks cost nearly this much when they were came on to the market...

Mine comes straight out the back, not on an angle like most aftermarket systems. It is a bit behind the bumper. It has plenty of room all around it so it doesnt burn the bumper. It saves 27lbs and sounds awesome!!!!

I know. This Greddy exhaust sits straight in the middle. Not "JDM" style.

zstryder, et al., the perfect setup would be a flame tip Ti exhaust, non-JDM style.

i would post a pic of what im talking about, but I can't access RRE's site right now for some reason.

the tip winds up being too shrouded by the bumper and it appears that the tip side of the muffer is higher than the inlet side - such that you sorta look down into the exhaust outlet and can't see the flame treatment at all (why pay for it if you can't see it?) and even worse, the tip isn't centered in the bumper cutout, making it look cheap and crappy.

im sure the centering of the tip can be adjusted by the installer, but i find it hard to believe that one could change the first angle I spoke of, the tip vs. inlet height. that angle seems to be inherent in the piping bends. maybe this was done for ground clearance, but until I see a pic of this exhaust installed and looking how I want, I will keep my $$.

anyone have pics to show otherwise?

tia!
