My goes from the BOV to the HBC to the wastgate. Exactly like the diagram that Mitsuorder posted on reply #23. I spoke to Al last night and he clarified a few things for me and told me my HBC is operating exactly like it's suppose to. I'm very satisfied with my HBC and don't plan on replacing it.

As for your boost drop in 3rd, I would recheck all the upper I/C pipe clamps including the BOV clamps. I read a thread about the stock BOV clamp being very loose from the factory and when I checked mine, it sure was. I could practically pull my BOV out of the piping. I would loosen all the clamps and make sure they have a sure fit on each pipe and retighten them all. If you have upgraded pipes, I suppose that could be another factor for the boost drop.

Another thing to look at is to make sure there isn't a leak in the vacume hose for your boost gauge. Where did you tap into for the vacume? I ran mine from the vacume off the throttle body because it makes the most sense to read the boost off the point closest to where it enters the engine.

These are just theories of mine. For an expert diagnosis, I would consult Al.

Mitsuorder posted on reply #23 is from the turbo housing to HBC then to the wastegate. # 24 is from BOV to the HBC then to the wastegate. Which method you really use that is hold rock solid? I used method #24.

I'll stick with the one I've been using, same as you nastea, until I see that there is an advantage to using the other method.

Sorry, I chose the wrong post. #24... BOV to HBC to wastgate hold rock solid for me.

With the pro spring and ball - which I prefer - I like to go off the turbo discharge pipe - into the MBC with as short a hose as possible - and then back to the wastegate actuator
