ONE TIME DEAL!!!AEM standalones $1549, AEM UEAGO airfuel gauges $430 shipped @@@

Hi guys, since we are giving great deals to all our customers this week, lets see what we can do on one of the best standalones for your car:

AEM EMS standalone for EVolution8
AEM’s Plug & Play Engine Management System (EMS) will forever change the way you look at and perform fuel injection tuning! This user-programmable system plugs directly into a vehicle’s factory ECU harness and requires no additional wiring or hardware.* Windows™-based software (2000, NT, 98, 95, ME) makes the task of copying, viewing and manipulating data as simple as a click of the mouse. User-defined templates are easily configurable and enable tuners to establish “quick keys” to any pertinent information during the tuning process. The AEM EMS’s infinitely adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately deliver proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for ANY boost level or operating condition.

Installs in Minutes (comes already preloaded with the EVo8 map)
Plug & Play Technology - No Wiring Necessary
Uses all the Factory Sensors
Fuel Table Automapping
Base Maps Included ( both for MAF and MAP equipped cars)
Programmable Traction Control
Onboard 512kb Datalogger
10 Cyl Sequential Fuel Injection
16 General Purpose Outputs
7 Definable Switch Inputs
Electronic Boost Control ( just add a $50 boost control solenoid, no need for a $500 EBC)
Soft Cut Rev Limiters
2 Step Launch Control
Wet or Dry Nitrous Control
Definable Knock Control
Full Idle Control
4 EGT Inputs w/Fuel Control
16/32 Hybrid High-Speed Processor

Is there any reason why having the two separate units is better than just the single unit with built in UEGO (besides the meter).

Also the stand alone UEGO can work with the stock ECU correct (by splicing the 0-1 V line into the stock O2 wire)?

How does the stand alone UEGO send data to both the gauge and EMS? Do you just split the 0-5V signal to go to both?

Well, the only advantage is having a gauge.
Never tried the gauge on a stock ECU. But you can put a bung in teh downpipe,a nd put the UEGO there.

The UEGO has the wideband controller integrated into the gauge. From there, you have the 0-1V and 0-5V outputs.

Ok so for the 1313 + stand alone UEGO you would splice the 0-1V line from the UEGO gauge into the O2 #1 input on the EMS (possibly the 0-5V line), and for the 1313U the sensor runs directly to the EMS which has a separate input not part of the normal ECU connection?

Yes, sir! And you solder the 0-5V output to pin #76 ( or 75, I have to go and look it up).

Ok thanks for the info. It looks like I could hook up the white wire from the UEGO to pin 76 and via a dial on the back of the gauge change it from a 0-1V for the stock ECU to a 0-5V when installing the EMS. Right now I am in the phase of the $2000 or so proper preparation for the EMS (proper in my mind). I am still undecided about getting the 1313U or just the 2 separate pieces. It would be interesting to try out the wideband on the stock setup and check it out on the dyno.

Tell doug I said hi too. It has been a while since I saw him at the Houston evo meets, then he moved away before I got back into working on the Evo again.
If you guys are at the DSM shootout I will see you there though.

I would go with the 1313 and UEGO gauge. At least you can see it all the time.

To use the gauge you dont need to hook it up to anything correct? Just give power, ground, and put the o2 in test pipe? Or are you guys talking specificly about datalogging?

Yes, it is just power and ground, yes. For datalogging to the AEM EMS, you need to hook up one more wire. It is really easy...
