?

Which canards? The Large Carbon Type? Voltex has yet to produce and actual Evolution IX Carbon Large Type Twin Specific Set. They do however have the standard urethane twin that works prefectly with the Evolution IX Front Bumper.

Do these canards just attach to the front bumper with nothing supporting them underneath?

Wouldn't the bumper under the canard flex since theres no support underneath?

Been considering getting canards for a while now but this has been bothering me.

What mods are needed to make the carbon set up work with the OEM IX Bumper? Thanks.

It will never work perfectly. You will have to reshape the base of the canards to form to the curve of the front bumper. It is really designed only for the C-West Front Bumper. If you are trying to use this part as a way to gain more downforce on your OEM IX FB, I recommend using something else. Since the base has large gaps when applied to the front bumper, the air cuts right through, causing you to lose downforce.
