P2R Intake Manifold Heatshields - $35 Shipped
EvolutionM,
We have a whole bunch of these in stock ready to ship. This is a really good and affordable upgrade for your Evo 8 and 9 especially since it actually works! Average hp gains on a dyno are about 2-4 horsepower and sometimes more depending on the rest of the setup.
Power Rev Racing Makes these and they are a standup company that makes more honda stuff than usual, but they were kind enough to bring the gaskets for the Evo, Nissans and Subaru's out too. This is the same material used in all the other brand name gaskets out without the $40+ Price tag, so take advantage.
* P2R-P120 : Power Rev Racing Mitsu Evo Thermo Intake Manifold Gasket $30 Shipped
MFG Description - Power Rev Racing intake gaskets will help reduce intake air temperatures by removing the direct connection of the intake manifold to the cylinder head. Made out of our proprietary heat dissipating material the P2R thermal intake gasket creates a thermal barrier that isolates power-robbing heat from traveling to your intake manifold through the cylinder head. Less heat soak means cooler air and more consistent power delivery.
* Evo Gasket is the one on the top.
These are not listed yet on our site, so to order please call us at 215-227-6000 with your Visa, Mastercard and Discover. You can also come pick them up locally, however add the 7% PA sales tax.
Thanks

I was going to get one of the "other" companies heatshields, but I figure they are all made of the same material.
Call you soon with an order. Can't beat $35!
Have you seen any of these P2R gaskets installed in Evo's already? No fitment issues? Perfect port match?
TIA

We installed one about 2 weeks ago and I thought to myself lets take some pictures but didnt. They are identical in port match to the factory gasket. No installation problems at all. Was pretty much straight forward.
