The PERRIN Performance Lancer Evolution rear sway bar replaces the factory 22mm sway bar with the a larger 25mm PERRIN bar. This larger bar will reduce unwanted body role and increase the tire contact patch with the road. Included with the PERRIN rear sway bar kit are new reinforced sway bar mounts. The larger diameter of the PERRIN Performance rear bar adds stress to the weak factory sway bar mounts. PERRIN Technicians have designed a new sway bar mount that will not transfer stress to the body of the vehicle and will help the sway bar perform better by 3locking the bar to the car.
THE FACTORY ENDLINKS BEND AND TWIST PRIOR TO APPLYING CORNERING LOADS TO THE SWAY BAR. THE PERRIN REAR END LINKS MAKE THE SWAY BAR RESPONSE COMPLETELY LINEAR. .....THE PERRIN SOLID REAR END LINKS WILL REPLACE YOUR WEAK FACTORY UNITS. PERRIN ENDLINKS ARE MADE FROM ONLY THE FINEST MATERIALS. ….TO INCREASE RESPONSE EVEN FURTHER PERRIN REPLACES ALL RUBBER BUSHINGS WITH PRE-LUBRICATED SPHERICAL BEARING AND HEIM JOINTS. Precision cut from virgin aluminum ensures strength, durability, and crisp sway bar response. .....Perrin end links use a set of spacers which will be placed between the sway bar and the end link. This is the secret to getting the dramatic angles needed for performance driving. Perrin spacers are made of high quality zinc plated steel. .....Your car will have a solid connection between the control arms and the sway bar. This means that you will get the maximum performance and feel from your rear sway bar.SPHERICAL BEARINGS .....Spherical bearings allow more dramatic angles to the sway bar movements. Thus eliminating the rear wheels from being lifted off the ground by cheap end links reaching bind up. .....these bearing are not made of rubber or urethane. They are made from 5200 series heat-treated steel. Then chrome plated to make them virtually indestructible. With a static radial load resistance to 13,250 lbs. you cannot break the bearings in our end links. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!........ There are many different styles of spherical bearings to choose from. Hundreds of man-hours have been spent experimenting with varying sizes and grades of bearings to find the correct set for this application. Do not be fooled by others who have tried and failed. The research and development time into this part far exceeds any other end link on the market. " NOT ALL BEARINGS ARE ALIKE." .....A great feature of our end links is the PTFE Teflon liner which is bonded to the inside of the bearing race. This will keep out any dirt or road grime and effectively cleans the surface of the bearing as the end link goes through its natural movements. The Teflon liner will also dampen against noise and vibration.
