One of our customers sent me an email asking me to comment on some of the outlandish statements about our product on here. But after reading for a while I don't even know where to start....

With descriptions like that it is obvious you don't understand the dynamics of either of the attachment systems. Our patented Direct Drive system was designed after years of dyno testing and vehicle testing. Unlike every other attachment system on the market Direct Drive puts the bobbin in double shear, allowing the torque to be taken out on the bobbin and not the hat or disc. With the older attachment like the one used by racing brakes the bobbin takes the torque out on the hat and disc, which often times leads to binding, removing the float. Also we don't assemble the rotors with locktite, i don't know where you got that from.

Since the intial launch in the late ninties our Direct Drive race discs have won more major championships than any other manufacturer in the world (including brembo, AP, Alcon etc.) more than 100 championships per year, how many has "Racing Brakes" won?

The idea that rotors "pump" air is a myth. Very little of the airflow is laminar, in reality it is quite turbulent. In the aftermarket you can see a plethora of vane designs from air foil shapes, to kangaroo paws, to what you see here, but it is all hype and no subsatance or testing to back up these claims. Curved vanes are the most efficient, anything else is "marketing." BTW take a look at the racing brake flange design and it is obvious that there will be no laminar air flow through the rotor at a couple thousand revolutions per minute.

RacingBrake:
- More efficient air ventilation – Center mount provides air inlets from both inboard and outboard.
- Heat load on rotor hat is balanced from both sides of friction surfaces.
- Heat transfer from disc surface to rotor hat is greatly reduced due to longer distance to travel.
- Stress load is balanced due to the mounting surface is at the disc center.
- Disc is uni-directional, hat can mount to disc on either side without having to identify left or right yet its truly directional, avoid mix-up in installation, very innovative
I won't even dignify that with a response, you have no understanding of thermodynamics.

Since we are doing a comparison lets look at some hard data, PFC disc specifictaions:
1) High Carbon Alloy with copper and molybdenum for high temperature strength and durability.
2) Vanes turned OD and ID for balance to reduce thermal warping and vibration.
3) Runout less than .001 inches, reducing Pulsation and Vibration
4) Thickness variation less than .0003 inches reduces Pulsation and Vibration.
5) Aircraft quality heat treated for micro structure alignment and durability.
6) Surface finish less than .7 microns.
