The job goes much smoother with a press for all of them (with the exception of sway bar bushings--as noted above). That's how we do it at the shop, but we have some DIY customers who will dig out the original factory rubber and then cut the outer metal sleeve so that they can pry it out. A lot more time consuming, but allows you to do the job without special equipment. Others have also brought their disassembled suspension components to us and we'll press the bushing out and the WORKS ones in for them.

Bringing this one back from the dead - I am more concerned as to how to disassemble these arms without hurting the ball joints - those pickle forks always split the boots. Any advice appreciated!

Hi Jamie, how much does it cost to have Works press out the old bushings and press in new ones? Does the kit come with pressing sleeves if we were to press the bushings in and out ourself?
