All HKS Hipermax Suspension systems utilize a mono-tube suspension structure which is a design where both the oil chamber and gas chamber are completely separated inside a single cylinder. Dampening is created as the piston moves up and down inside the cylinder. Dampening is maintained by applying constant load to the cylinder with the use of high pressure gas. The Front Roll Center Adjustment Kit from Whiteline is designed to raise front roll-center geometry by using new special ball-joints, while maintaining original bump-steer by using new tie-rod ends. pm price on the 5 million different kinds of coilovers you have ! :O) i have an evo 8 with a system in the back (which makes it maybe 2" lower than stock?) so i don't know if i could just do springs. what do you recomend i do? thanks

If thats the case springs might be a good option if you are looking for an inexpensive way to get the stance you would like. Obviously coilovers are a better performance option but there is the factor of price. As far as Springs I would recommend the Swift($299 shipped), or Tanabe GF-210 ($189 shipped).

Coilovers I would recommend the the KW V3 because in my opinion they are one of the best bang for your buck coilover systems we offer giving you everything you could really desire in a double duty suspension system for a very reasonable price. The other really good option we have right now if you are kind of in between whether or not you should get coilovers is the HKS Hipermax II RS. While this may be last years model we have one set left that is brand new in the box we are letting for for just $1299 shipped!

If you have any other questions just let me know! but to sum things up I would go with the swifts if you prefer springs but the Hipermax II rs's if your budget allows!

but if my rear is lower than my front due to the system, wouldn't the springs not even it out? anotherwords, the back would still be lower (maybe too much) than the front? i think coilovers might be best. how low and high can the HKS adjust? sorry to clutter the thread with questions, but free bumps!:O)

haha no problem at all, with the Hipermax you will get about 60mm of front height adjustment and 50mm in the rear for optimum performance. Obviously you can go beyond those ranges but it would not necessarily be recommended.
