Thanks for the info 4 more sets and it's a go. 10+ hp gain plus better stopping and more responsive turning says it's well worth it.

contact surface is thin which mean won't last as long as others normal thickness size rotors. 7whp from rotors ? I highly doubt the rotors made that gain that you saw.

evodan, it's good too see someone as motivated as I am to build the best car possible. If none of this stuff made a difference my RS wouldn't run 9.0's at 159.6 on a 35r based turbo.

Thanks for posting that link. I was thinking I was going to have to scan the dyno sheet again and repost it!

No problem on the help, you are pretty easy to deal with

Just wait - as the snow starts melting in 2/3 of the country and people's minds turn to racing, and as tax returns start coming in - people will be all over this. I had lots of AX people interested in them last year when I was talking about them. . .

If I could only get Girodisc to get back to me, lol....... I might be interested in a set. With that said.......

Would you guys sell me a set of rears as part of the group buy? I am sure someone wants fronts only. If so, how much? PM me info you prefer

So is the consensus that these would not be appropriate for road racing application? While my primary driving would be street, I would be some some road racing this year.

Yes. For RR use you would want to use the standard Girodisc rotors (also lightweight). . .

$750 for the rears only. Yes we can include them in the buy, just call the shop and put the order in.

I agree, not for road racing.

I'll have to get the regular Girodiscs, though I was tempted for a minute
